PASTOR DEBORAH J. CHAMBERS
Pastor Deborah J. Chambers is the dynamic senior pastor of Calvert County Baptist Church
(CCBC). She leads the congregation with a mission and vision of uniting believers to glorify
God by engaging, equipping, and empowering disciples. Under her leadership, the church
has experienced significant restoration, growth, and community engagement.

DEBORAH J. CHAMBERS
Pastor Chambers is passionate about teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her
journey in ministry includes roles at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, where she served
as associate pastor, chaplain and contributed to various ministries and missions worldwide.
Prior to her tenure at CCBC, Pastor Chambers served as Vice President of Development and
Partnerships for a Christ-centered nonprofit responsible for aiding the homeless and
impoverished in Washington, D.C. Her dedication extends beyond the pulpit, as she actively
engages in board level leadership with various organizations, including One Warm Coat and
Scarred But Healed.
Beyond her ministry, she finds joy in family life, supported by her devoted husband and
three adult children. Rooted in Luke 12:48, Pastor Chambers' mission is to give back to the
Kingdom of God and enrich the lives of others.

CALVERT ASSOCIATION OF EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT STAFF
CALVERT EDUCATION ASSOCIATION
The Calvert Association of Educational Support Staff is the exclusive representative of
Calvert County Public Schools support staff employees. Our mission shall be to empower
our members to advocate for the rights and well-being of all support staff. We promote
collaboration to enhance education for students and professional growth for staff.
Committed to fairness, transparency, and justice, we advocate in a common voice for fair
compensation, job security, and working conditions. We recognize and champion the
essential role of support staff as vital contributors to the success and growth of our
educational community.
The Calvert Education Association works for the welfare of the teachers and students of
Calvert County Public Schools. We work to unify and strengthen the profession of teaching
and to present a clear interpretation of Calvert County Public Schools to the public. The
Calvert Education Association promotes confidence, respect, and cooperation among all
engaged in educational work in Calvert County. The Association encourages students to
become teachers so they can experience the benefits and rewards of teaching.
